ImDisk makes RAM Disks for Windows. RAM disks are faster than SSDs. The RAM disk uses RAM to store information and works like a hard drive, SSD or USB drive.

All information in the RAM disk is removed when the computer is restated. Information that needs saved must be backed up to a storage drive (hard drive, SSD, flash, etc.). If the RAM disk being backed up or loaded during computer shutdown or start up, the computer may appear to freeze. Once the data is copied, the computer will continue with the shutdown or startup sequence.
