This tutorial covers the user interface, how to setup Voice4Me, and changing the voices on Windows. Third party voices may work with this program. If you are into purchasing other voices we suggest trying the voice, first, before buying the voice. That way you will be sure that the voice works with Voice4Me’s text-to-speech (tts) capabilities.

Some versions of Windows 2000 do not come with text-to-speech installed. The SpeechSDK51.exe can install the text-to-speech system for Windows 2000. This file can also load the Mike and Mary voices for Window XP. SpeechSDK51.exe can be downloaded from Microsoft:

The SpeechSDK51LangPack.exe can install the Simplified Chinese TTS engine. Please install the SpeechSDK51.exe before installing the language pack add on.
